These classes are designed for those who want to keep exercising but feel uncomfortable standing. Chair yoga has been a recognised form of exercise since the early 1980s and this course will reap the advantages of this way of staying fit for the whole body - from head to toe!

These classes are designed for those who want to keep exercising but feel uncomfortable standing. Chair yoga has been a recognised form of exercise since the early 1980s and this course will reap the advantages of this way of staying fit for the whole body - from head to toe! We will stretch, improve circulation, and we will become stronger. We will extend the basis of chair yoga by adding in resistance bands exercise help increase further our muscle strength, especially in our arms and legs.


It is important that we all keep exercising our body and muscles so that we can still perform our basic tasks of life, and have the body strength to move around as independently as possible.


All you will need will be a drink, a towel and comfortable clothes for exercise. You'll also need to bring your enthusiasm with you! The 45-minute sessions will take place in a ground floor room.
